What are the Dirty Dozen & Clean 15? Well they are the foods deemed the most chemically treated or pesticide laden.

All the more reason to choose organic when able, I'll have a post on this shortly as well so stay tuned.

To keep to the point below is the EWG's 2020 list of foods you may want to take extra care with.

Dirty Dozen

1. Strawberries

2. Spinach

3. Kale

4. Nectarines

5. Apples

6. Grapes

7. Peaches

8. Cherries

9. Pears

10. Tomatoes

11. Celery

12. Potatoes

13. Added as the bonus addition - Hot peppers

Clean Fifteen

1. Avocados

2. Sweet corn

3. Pineapple

4. Onions

5. Papaya

6. Sweet peas (frozen)

7. Eggplant

8. Asparagus

9. Cauliflower

10. Cantaloupe

11. Broccoli

12. Mushrooms

13. Cabbage

Remember to wash all your fruit and vegetables regardless or organic or not, store bought or farm fresh. We are living in weird day and age and simple safety measures can go along way.

My exception to the rules are food from my own garden, no sprays, chemicals, or tainted soil so I know it's then it's ok not to wash ;)
